Oakland & Co is a firm of solicitors specialising in Employment Law.

Daniel Oakland is the Principal of the firm. He is a solicitor and a qualified barrister with nearly 30 years experience of dealing with the full range of employment issues for both employees and employers. He has been the Head of Employment Law departments in well-known West End and City legal practices.

Employment law has become an increasingly complex area with new regulations, rights and obligations being created on what seems like an almost daily basis.

The legal protection afforded to employees needs to be understood and, where appropriate, enforced. Likewise, the obligations of employers must be heeded and correctly put into practice.

Our services to individuals primarily involve bringing claims in the Employment Tribunals for employees who have been dismissed or whose rights have been breached. We represent employees under a number of funding arrangements including No Win No Fee agreements.

Our services to businesses encompass the full range of HR advice, policies and procedures, drafting of documentation and defending claims brought by employees.

Acting for both employers and employees means that we are able to view and advise upon any situation from all angles, which is of considerable benefit when trying to achieve the best solutions.

Oakland & Co provides experience and expertise to businesses and to individuals at reasonable rates.
