I qualified as a family solicitor in January 2004 and since that time have exclusively practised family law. I have been a member of Resolution, previously the Solicitor’s Family Law Association, since I first qualified and I am proud to fully subscribe to their course of conduct, which recognises that the breakdown of a family relationship needs to be handled in a way that does not make a difficult situation worse.

I am a recommended lawyer in Legal 500 and Chambers and have been a member of the Law Society’s Children Panel since 2010, which is awarded to lawyers who are able to demonstrate a high level of experience and expertise in the law relating to children. I have also been a Resolution Accredited Specialist in complex family finance matters and domestic abuse issues since 2018 and a trained Collaborative Lawyer since 2018.

The family team at Nash & Co are the only family team in the area to have achieved rankings in both the Legal 500 and Chambers legal directories, which makes us the highest ranked team for family law locally. As the team leader, I am very proud of that achievement, which I believe reflects the consistently high level of expertise and service that all of the team offer to our clients.
